
Gurgaon,
a district head quarter in Haryana, is situated in NCR of Delhi, the
capital of India. It is in the heart of a major industrial area and is
one of Delhi's four major satellite cities.

Climate in Gurgaon
Except during the monsoon, the climate of Gurgaon is characterized by
dryness in air, a hot summer and a cold winter. The winter starts in
November and continues up to the beginning of March. The summer is from
March till the end of June. The period from July to mid September is the
south west monsoon season. During summer, the mean maximum temperature
is about 41° C. The mean maximum temperature in winter is about 21°
C which falls to about 7° C during peak winters.

- Air : The nearest airport is Indira Gandhi
International Airport, at New Delhi, which is just 10 km from
Gurhaon.
- Road : The state transport buses connect
Gurgaon to neighbouring cities within the state and in neighboring
states. Taxis, metered auto-rickshaws, private buses and state buses
are easily available.
- Railway : Gurgaon has its own railway station
as well. The station is located at the extreme corner of the city
and it is a connection to both Rewari on one side and Delhi on
other.
