Accompanied Service
In this, the pet is allowed
to travel together on the same flight. The pet checks-in at the
passenger terminal and rejoins the client on arrival in
the baggage hall at the destination airport.
Unaccompanied Service
When the client is unable
to travel with the pet, the pet is collected from the door step
itself, packed by the experts and then finally taken to the cargo.
The entire documentation, like health certificate etc can be
arranged by us. These certificates come from the following
organizations:
The Independent Pet and Animal Transportation Association
International (IPATA)
The American Boarding Kennels Association (ABKA)
Professional Handlers Association
Animal Transportation Association (AATA)
Some of the guidelines for the pet container are as follow:
The container must be large enough for the pet to stand up,
turn around and lie down in a natural manner. Hence, correct size is
important.
The container must be strong enough to protect the pet
during transport, secure enough to contain it and have sufficient
ventilation on all four sides to ensure the air quality in the
container does not deteriorate.
The door must be secured in such a manner that it does not
open accidentally or pet cannot open it during handling and
transport
The floor must be provided by a leak proof dropping tray and
filled with absorbent materials
The container must have a water pot and a food container
accessible from outside.
Fiberboard or wire mesh containers are not suitable for air
transportation.
Shipper's instruction for the animal's care must have been
affixed to the container.
All of the relevant health documents must be on hand.
Moreover, there are specific IATA approved containers used for
moving and packing of the pets.
