When you have a packed and moving company by your side, how to shift a fish tank is a minor issue to solve. But the problem comes when you must set up the relocated aquarium again at the new location. If you haven’t done that before and if you don’t know how to execute the perfect placement of your fish tank, then you must follow and take care of the following points–

  1. Carefully and patiently unbox the whole fish tank. Make sure neither the fish tank gets damaged in the process, nor you get hurt while unpacking it.
  2. Take out the tank from the box carefully and wipe the tank from the inside and outside with a clean cloth.
  3. Now, place it directly where you want your tank to be in the house. Don’t take your tank here and there or leave it unattended, as it can cause severe damage.
  4. After that, add the saved water into the tank and fill it with clean water.
  5. Put back the gravel, sand, accessories, and everything else in the fish tank.
  6. Adjust the filters and turn on the aquarium.
  7. Ensure PH balance, chlorine level, temperature, and ammonia level are normal before you add your fish.
  8. Lastly, add the fish to the fish tank and feed them properly.

If your fish tank has sharp edges, remember to wear gloves while carrying and placing it. It will protect you from getting hurt.
