I did research to find good packers and movers for 15 days over web ....read multiple reviews ... Did Quora ... And beleive me I got confused like anything. Then one day I got call from Bhagirath ji in the morning and added that he got my contact from sulekha and I asked him bout quote..he was the first person who told me that will visit before sharing quote and that made sense to me. Before that I asked Maxwell Relocation and Book My Truck as well for visit but their tantrums were overpriced. This was the first win from Metro Domestic, later when Sharma ji visited he tried to convince me that they do their best ...brought a file with handwritten reviews and also asked me to go through mouthshut Reviews ...somehow I finalised with little fear since they are not very renowned like others and reviews are also limited but to me he sound genuine. Somehow on the day of moving from Bangalore, 4 people came for packing (including driver Ratan). Here I wanna mention that most of the delicate small stuff was already bubble wrapped by me ... Still the packing they provided for my furniture plus my packed delicate items was tremendously awesome. They took 6 hours for waterproof packing (laminated). Now next tension was will it reach safely...since I saw multiple reviews over web that things were stolen and box is torn out. Or box is missing or things are broken or wet. It took 17 days (tensed days) to reach goods from Bangalore to Delhi and when they unloaded the truck, breathed a sigh of relief. Finally after so many road blocks due to farmer agitation it got delayed but reached safely. Thanks again guys who visited for packing and for unloading...I paid them their proper tip ..2000 for packing and loading labour and 500 in delhi unload...since I was happy with their packing skills and talent. I should say that if you want your delicate items to reach destination safely, they cannot do ur type packing for those tiny stuff within 6-8 hours..so do ur efforts too. Only Advice to Bhagirath ji to convey the gst accurately pre-booking. It was mentioned 7% in my quote receipt but was charged 18% (standard).
